Purav Shah

Purav Shah is a Senior Lecturer in the Design Engineering and Mathematics Department at Middlesex University London and an integral member of the London Digital Twin Research Centre. He earned his PhD in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Plymouth, UK, in 2008. His research focuses on signal processing for next-generation communication networks, system modeling and energy efficiency in wireless networks, and the application of AI in intelligent transportation systems. His work also extends to RF fingerprinting for wireless sensing, industry 4.0 and digital twin modeling,
contributing to advancements in these cutting-edge fields.
Since 2020, he has actively secured research funding from the British Council and the UK Department of Science and Technology, and has participated in multiple EU Horizon 2020 projects. He also serves as a reviewer for UKRI and EU funding applications, demonstrating his expertise and leadership in the academic and research community. His international collaborations span globally, including partnerships with institutions and researchers from Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, India, Mexico, Vietnam, and the USA.
