
Michiel N. Daams
Michiel N. Daams holds a tenured position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Geography at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). He specializes in the geography of real estate markets and land use, with a particular focus on commercial risks in cities and regions as well as Earth Observation. Over the years, Michiel has closely collaborated and published with the UK-wide Productivity Institute, as well as with international policy organizations and the real estate industry. He also serves as a Board Member of the Netherlands Association for Real Estate Researchers and as one of the Directors at the University of Groningen’s interdisciplinary School for Sustainable Development, where he fosters university-wide and societal research collaborations.
