Michele Colledanchise

Michele Colledanchise is a roboticist specializing in robot behavior design, with extensive experience across research, technology transfer, and industry. Known as a pioneer in the field of Behavior Trees for robotics, Michele earned his Ph.D. in computer science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2017.

He is currently a Senior Behavior Developer at Aeolus Robotics, where he focuses on creating advanced behavior frameworks for service robots. Previously, Michele conducted research at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), contributing to advancements in robotic behavior and verification.

In addition to his professional roles, Michele co-authored the book Behavior Trees in Robotics and AI: An Introduction, which has become a foundational text in the field. His work emphasizes creating robust, modular, and scalable behavior frameworks for robots.
