Gabriele Murchio

Gabriele Murchio is a geomatics expert and photogrammetry specialist with extensive experience in Earth observation and geospatial technologies. Master’s degree in Geographic Sciences from La Sapienza University of Rome, with specialization in GIS and photogrammetry [2000]. He further enriched his skills with a Master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing from Roma Tre University[2003]. In 2017 he completed his academic path by obtaining a PhD in Geomatics Sciences from La Sapienza University, focusing on automated 3D scene reconstruction from multi-view stereo images. Subsequently he attended and obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering (Design, Application, Regulation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems – RPAS).

With over 25 years of experience in the Earth observation sector, He has been working since 2003 in Telespazio Earth-observation department that, in July 2009, became e-GEOS company. He has held positions of  Product Manager for Digital Twin solutions and Reality Mapping in e-GEOS company.
