Daniele Tarchi

Daniele Tarchi was born in Florence, Italy, in 1975. He earned his M.Sc. in telecommunications engineering in 2000 and his Ph.D. in informatics and telecommunications engineering in 2004, both from the University of Florence. He served as a Research Associate at the University of Florence from 2004 to 2010. He then joined the University of Bologna as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor until 2024. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Florence. He has authored approximately 170 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests encompass wireless communications and networks, satellite communications and networks, edge computing, distributed learning, and optimization techniques. He is an Editorial Board Member of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Open Journal of the Communication Society, and IET Communications. He has also co-chaired several IEEE symposia and workshops.
