
Andrea Nasuto
Andrea Nasuto is a PhD candidate in Geographic Data Science at the University of Liverpool and a Fellow at Harvard’s IQSS and CGA. His research combines large language models, geospatial modeling, and machine learning to analyze human behavior, specifically focusing on immigration sentiment and human mobility. He has worked with multiple UN agencies on projects related to migrant displacement, crisis impacts, and human mobility in Ukraine and Latin America. In addition to his work on migration, he studies the impact of climate-driven market shifts on housing and applies machine learning to estimate mobility trends and loneliness within aging demographics. His research has been presented at several leading institutions, including MIT, Brown University, the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard, the United Nations Population & Development Division in New York, and the International Organization for Migration in London.
